This weekend I attended the after party for the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest ‘07. It was pretty fun. I had the pleasure of running into a new friend, Dana DeArmond, The Internet’s Girlfriend. Our meeting was brief, but did get a few pictures. She’s so beautiful!

Here’s a funny story from that bondage room. My Director (who is not white) and I were sitting in the bondage room watching a guy getting whipped by two girls. There were other people in the room, but it wasn’t necessarily crowded. In fact, I would say the room was pretty much empty. Anyway, this bald guy looks at me and my Director, walks over and stands right in front of us directly blocking our view. At first I thought he was waiting for someone, but he continued to stand there as if wanting to provoke a reaction from my Director and I.

Then I realized that he was bald, and had on white suspenders and white shoe laces. I turned to my Director and said, “Is that a skinhead?” I asked him with the same exact inflection I would use if I had just seen Bigfoot. I am blessed to live in a big city which is enriched with many different cultures. I have always felt most comfortable among a diverse group of people. I didn’t know they still made skinheads, and I didn’t expect to see one in real life. Not in my neighborhood at least!

We had a good laugh and left the room. This simple minded hater was not going to bring us down to his level. We still had people to see and partying to do!
