Veteran’s Day
Last week I visited the Arlington West Memorial on the Santa Monica beach. The mission statement of this memorial is “*to honor the fallen and wounded *to acknowledge the human cost of war *to provide a place to grieve *to encourage dialogue among people with varied points of view *and to educate the public about the needs of those returning from war.”
It was such a moving and sad experience, seeing all the crosses and knowing they represented a life lost in this war. Although I do not agree with this current administration’s choices, I greatly appreciate and support all the people who are serving our country. THANK YOU!!!!
