What a year it has been! 2008 was filled with lessons, wonderful new experiences, and amazement. This year I learned that you can not predict what’s going to happen and that most things are beyond our control. I also learned that great things happen every single day.
The year started off with a cherished family member being very ill. It was the absolute worst time in my life, but through prayer, faith, and so much good energy and thoughts sent by everyone around us, this family member miraculously healed! I am truly aware how delicate life is and how each day we have on earth with our loved ones is a real blessing. I learned the power of faith and that miracles do happen. I am thankful for my family member every second of every day. I also learned great strength by watching this family member’s strength.
The rest of the year was filled with such great firsts for me, all of which I am so grateful. This year I was included in my first gallery art show, I did my first scene with a guy, I got my first mainstream magazine cover on Bizarre, I was molded for the first plus sized sex toy, and I had an organ removed. I also was blessed with being able to travel a lot this year, going to one of my favorite places, NYC and also to Montreal for the first time. Another great first for me and the country was the election of Obama!!
This year I was honored to be included in some really cool projects by my friends.
I want to thank everyone who reads this blog, and to everyone who supports my projects. I feel like you are my friends and I am appreciative. I want to wish you a very happy, healthy, wonderful 2009!!! I hope the new year brings all good things!!
Here is a little preview from the fabulous Voluptuous Biker Babes!! VBB will be released February 24th, 2009, but is also available for pre-orders here!!!
This is a pic of a tattoo on a very cool fan which is based on a picture of me!!! I am so honored and excited and really flattered!!! The artist did an amazing job in capturing all the details including the cupcakes on the dress, the cotton candy and even my tattoos!! I never could have imagined that this would happen so I feel really happy.
You can see more of the tattoo artist, James Dorn’s work on his Myspace.
Yesterday I went to Topco to pick up the one-of-a-kind prototype for my toy! It was pretty surreal looking at the toy since I have never seen myself that closely, but I have to say she looks exactly like me! Once I got home we had a little fun taking pictures.
It is such a cool, wonderful feeling knowing that this will be the first plus-sized doll and that there is nothing like her out there. The doll will be available here on my site in a few months. Then you can love me too!
The nominations for the 2009 AVN Awards were announced last week and two of the movies I was in were nominated! Kiss Attack was nominated for Best Make Up and Best Special Effects. Morphine was also nominated for several awards including Best Director, whoo hoo!
Congrats to directors Carlos Batts and Kimberly Kane for their outstanding work!
Here are two amazing musical talents who’s music has added much ambiance and texture to the upcoming film Glamazons.
hustlePUNCH has worked with director Carlos Batts for 9 years now. Their music appears on the soundtracks of most of the films directed by Carlos including Kiss Attack, Young Hollywood, Voluptuous Life, and our very first movie Alter Ego. Their style is described as “early 90′s-style synthpop with live trombone and bass clarinet, guitar and bass, keyboards and improvised lyrics”.
The One is described as “a musical gumbo with Dillaesque Hip Hop, Funkadelic grooves and the soul of Motown in its glory days”. His song Milkshake Thick is my new favorite song and everyone that hears it can not stop singing it because they love it so much.
I want to thank these two artists for enhancing our films . Please check them out and support their talents.
