I had the pleasure of shooting with Coop and Skye Shelly a few days ago. We were in Coop’s Opium Den, a room filled with pillows and ornate tapestries from around the world. Needless to say the setting was very romantic and added a sensual feel to the shoot and the pictures as well.
Here are some of my faves:

Below is an open letter Planned Parenthood is taking “straight to St. Louis, Missouri, for the vice-presidential debate to say “Sarah Palin is not our candidate” in a big, bold way.”
Palin is a woman against women and I do not support her or McCain.
Click here to sign the open letter.
Dear Sarah Palin,
You are not our candidate.
You are not our candidate because you required women in Wasilla to pay for their own medical examinations after being raped.
You are not our candidate because you do not support a woman’s right to choose, even in the case of rape or incest.
You are not our candidate because you’ve cut funding for teen moms and comprehensive sex education, while promoting failed abstinence-only programs.
You are not our candidate because, as vice president — a heartbeat away from the presidency — you would jeopardize health care for women everywhere.
We are teachers, doctors, athletes, programmers, artists, lawyers, secretaries, CEOs, students, designers, nurses, factory workers, mothers, and fathers. We are conservatives and liberals, Democrats and Republicans, country and city people. We are women and men. We are voters. We are the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
We believe in a woman’s right to choose and the right of every person to have access to complete reproductive health care. We are hundreds of thousands strong, and we are doing everything we can to make sure you are not elected.
You are not our candidate.
Sincerely,

The Fall season has begun and I couldnt be happier. My new favorite TV shows are The Unbeatable Banzuke, “Bizarre Foods ” with Andrew Zimmern, and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.
These interesting shows brighten up my nights. There should be more of these types of reality shows and less of the Kardashian/Denise Richards type bullshit shows where they try to pass off uninteresting people as likable with lives we care about watching. Anyway…
Below is a clip from The Unbeatable Banzuke:
I read the book this movie is based on earlier this year. I really enjoyed it. I am currently reading “Haunted” which is also by Chuck Palahniuk. I am going to try and see this movie this weekend.
Tomorrow I will have the pleasure of joining Varla Vex on Playboy Radio. We will be talking about her new movie “First Dates” and lots of other fun stuff.
“Night Calls” airs on Sirius channel 198 from 4 to 7 p.m. PST. Cool!
Feel free to call in to the show, I would love to hear from you!

Tomorrow I leave for Phoenix to attend the *second!* group show exhibiting my photography! I am super excited about the trip and seeing my work displayed.
The show is called Thinking About La Raza at Perihelion Arts and it’s an exhibition of artwork exploring Latino/Chicano culture and perspectives. The show was curated by Carlos Batts and Antonio Vigil.
My friend Ashley Blue and I were recently talking about how exciting it is to be included gallery art shows. We are planning a day where she draws me and I take pictures of her. That should produce some interesting work for sure!
If you are in Phoenix, please stop by and say HI.

I got my tattoo!
True Tattoo on Cahuenga here in LA.

Small Paul is the artist creating my piece.

He took a lot of care and attention while placing the roses perfectly, then hand drew on the leaves.

Nervous! I hate the moments leading up to things that make me nervous. I just want to get them done!

Halfway done, taking a water break.

Finished!! (For now at least. There is still shading and coloring to be done!)
