Check out this post on my friend Sara Rosen’s blog. Carlos & I had been working with her to hopefully make my book FAT GIRL become a reality and someday be published. It never came to be, but Miss Rosen still believes in the project and posted my introduction letter to the book. Hope you like it!

In a few hours, I will be boarding a plane on my way to the Fifth Annual Feminist Porn Awards in Toronto!!! I am super excited because I have always been a fan of these awards and dreamed of attending since I started performing 4 years ago. It will be my first time attending the awards, which is a two day event with a screening on April 8th, and the award ceremony on the 9th. I am honored to be in FOUR nominated films:

Here is the trailer for Behind the Red Door! I am extremely excited about this movie because it looks great and was a lot of fun to shoot.
The movie will be available on October 19th, and stars Ashley Blue, Kelly Shibari and Syd Blackovich!

It is SO EXCITING that the April Flores Toy Show is traveling EAST!!! If you are on the East Coast, please come check out this very cool exhibit. We will be in New York at the Museum of Sex on October 22nd from 7:30 – 10:00pm, then two nights later on the 24th at the Painted Bride in Philadelphia from 7:30 to 12am!!

Eight new pieces with four artists from each city have been added bringing the total pieces in this show to an astounding 20!! There will also be raffles to benefit ASC NYC and Sex Work Awareness in New York, and William Way Community Center in Philadelphia. Adding to the festivities of the evening in Philly willl be live music by Clamfight and Bitchslicer!

Next week on Wednesday, September 16th I will be in San Francisco for the April Flores Toy Show ~AND~ Glamazons DVD Release party! This event will be part of a week of screenings and parties celebrating Good Vibrations’ FOURTH ANNUAL Independent Erotic Film Festival!

I am super excited that the Toy Show will be in San Francisco because FOUR new pieces have been added to the already amazing show! The artists who are adding their unique visions to the show are Brian Donnelly, Stephan Kasner, Zak Smith, & Dr. Carol Queen, Ph.D and Robert Lawrence!!

We will also be celebrating the DVD Release of GLAMAZONS!! My co-star Ruby Violence will be at the event too!

Good Vibrations is proud to present limited edition artist renditions of leading Big Beautiful Women (BBW) star April Flores’ Voluptuous CyberSkin Love Toy. Twelve world-renown Los Angeles and four San Francisco-based artists designed one-of-a-kind creations using plaster molds of the April Flores toy as their canvas. Participating artists include Axis, Carlos Batts, COOP, Jim Mahfood, Kime Buzzelli, Kozy & Dan, Misha, Small Paul, Brian Donnelly (Toronto), Stephan Kasner, Dr. Carol Queen, Ph.D and Robert Lawrence.

I am really excited about the show! It’s so exciting to see how each artist has applied their own unique art style to the Toy. I can’t wait to see the entire show with all the works of art together.

If you are in LA, please come out to this One Night Only Exhibit at La Luz de Jesus Gallery! Eight of my absolute favorite LA artists have used a plaster mold of the April Flores Voluptuous Pussy as a canvas! This is such an amazing exhibit because it combines sex and art in a very unique way, making the statement that the toy is a work of art as well as a pleasure toy. The show invokes ideas about art, beauty, sexuality, and pleasure toys.

Artists in the show are Axis, Carlos Batts, COOP , Jim Mahfood,
Kim Buzzelli, Kozy & Dan, Misha , and Small Paul. The exhibit will take place on May 13th at La Luz de Jesus Gallery, and will be curated by Carlos Batts.
