I am so thrilled that I have been invited to pose and participate at Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School on Sunday, April 17, 2011 Dr. “Sketchy’s Anti-Art school is the world’s premier alt.drawing movement. Artists draw glamorous underground performers in an atmosphere of boozy conviviality.” It’s run by Molly Crabapple who in addition to being an amazing artist, also created a piece in the April Flores Toy Art Show!

I will be posing for sketches, paintings, drawings and voyeuristic pleasures at Studio Servitu clubhouse in downtown, Sunday April 17th from 7 – 10 pm! The cover is only $15 in advance and $20 at the door. If more than 60 people attend, then everyone will get a free, autographed copy of Baby Tattoo’s book “Unkle Pigors’ Cryptic Art” (worth $30)!

I am super excited and honored to be a new Pornsaint!! Check out the illustration by the lovey and extremely talented Molly Crabapple! Molly also graced us with her talent by participating in the New York debut of The April Flores Love Toy Show with her piece “Balloons”:

If you are not familiar with Pornsaints.org, their site “is the art side of porn and the porn side of art. It is an artistic approach to porn, a pornographic approach to art, a pornoartistic approach to religion. Artworks are based upon the idea that porn stars may be ‘sanctified’ by their performances. Founded by the artist Francesco D’Isa in early 2007, Pornsaints is based in Italy, and made up of artists from around the world working in an array of mediums ranging from digital video to oil and canvas.”

It is SO EXCITING that the April Flores Toy Show is traveling EAST!!! If you are on the East Coast, please come check out this very cool exhibit. We will be in New York at the Museum of Sex on October 22nd from 7:30 – 10:00pm, then two nights later on the 24th at the Painted Bride in Philadelphia from 7:30 to 12am!!

Eight new pieces with four artists from each city have been added bringing the total pieces in this show to an astounding 20!! There will also be raffles to benefit ASC NYC and Sex Work Awareness in New York, and William Way Community Center in Philadelphia. Adding to the festivities of the evening in Philly willl be live music by Clamfight and Bitchslicer!

I am super excited that the Toy Show will be in San Francisco because FOUR new pieces have been added to the already amazing show! The artists who are adding their unique visions to the show are Brian Donnelly, Stephan Kasner, Zak Smith, & Dr. Carol Queen, Ph.D and Robert Lawrence!!

Twelve world-renown Los Angeles and four San Francisco-based artists designed one-of-a-kind creations using plaster molds of the April Flores toy as their canvas. Participating artists include Axis, Carlos Batts, COOP, Jim Mahfood, Kime Buzzelli, Kozy & Dan, Misha, Small Paul, Brian Donnelly (Toronto), Stephan Kasner, Dr. Carol Queen, Ph.D and Robert Lawrence.

Hell yeah!! Topco recently announced their Winter 2009 Supplemental Catalog, which included my toy! The WildFire® Celebrity Series April Flores’ CyberSkin® Voluptuous Pussy is now on their official site. It’s so wonderful how realistic the toy came out!
